The Operating Systems Lab is based on an open source thin-client solution served by a GNU/Linux LTSP Pentium IV. Our solution makes it possible to turn about 50 Pentium II and Pentium-III machines into cutting edge workstations where any student can access its own account through a modern desktop environment (KDE).
The lab accommodates to the requirements of Digital Image Processing, Operating Systems, Computer Communication and Networking and Systems Programming courses.
