Introduction

Mr. Tariq S. Khan specializes in the area of Thermal Fluid Sciences. His current research interests include Experimental studies in Aerodynamics and Heat & Fluid flow in Porous media. Mr. Khan’s M.S. work was related to Study of High Blockage Ratio Vortex Shedding under Perturbed Flow. He also worked on Porous medium and studied the affect of inserting Porous layers on Free Convection from Vertical Walls. While working on his BS project, Mr. Khan performed Air Conditioning Analysis and Design for a University Building.

Prior to joining the GIK Institute, Mr. Khan worked for three and half years at the Eastern Mediterranean University TRNC as Research Assistant. He was involved in teaching Labs and conducting undergraduate tutorial classes. He was also involved in developing engineering laboratory manuals and reviewing mechanical engineering course descriptions. He also worked as Lecturer-B in King Fahad University of Petroleum & Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
