GIK Institute signs MoU with Kirikkale University, Turkey

The GIK Institute signed Mevlana Exchange Programme Protocol with Kirikkale University Turkey on 14th October 2016 to promote student and faculty exchange between the partner institutions. Student exchange ranging from 4-5 months and faculty exchange ranging from 1 -2 weeks are possible under the signed agreement. Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Materials Engineering, Faculty of Computer Engineering and Departments of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry are eligible to apply for this exchange program.

 

The Mevlana Exchange Programme Protocol was the result of a recent visit of Dean FES, Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi to Kirikkale University in order to foster international research linkages between the two universities. The highly competitive Mevlana Exchange Programme Protocol was awarded to GIK Institute as a result of meeting of Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi with Prof. Dr. Ekrem Yildiz'?, Rector Kirikkale University, Prof. Dr. Saffet Nezir, Dean Faculty of Engineering and Sciences, and  Dr. Mahmut Böyükata Vice Dean, which paved path to establishing research linkages between the two universities (also see http://www.kku.edu.tr/Anasayfa/Haber/Index/207).
