GIKI Provides a wide array of digital facilities to its students. Ranging from Webmail to eBooks, these facilities satiate the digital needs of our students.
All the Intranet facilities below are for GIKI's Internal Network and are accessible only from within the institute unless stated otherwise explicitly.
| Webmail |
GIKI Provides email facility to every enrolled students along with indivisual email id's.The username and passwords for the webmail can be obtained from the PC Lab in the Faculty of Engineering Sciences.
You can check your mail through one of the following ways:
The GIKI Website: Click here to be directed to the login page.This method now also works externally and you can now access your email from anywhere.
POP3 Email Managers: You can use any email software like Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird. In the POP3 electronic mail manager of your choiceg,go to its account settings and create a new account with the settings below.

| IRC |
miRC server is maintained by Netronix and acts as a hub for social discourse and communication between students.You need miRC 6.01 or above to connect to the GIKI IRC Server.It can be accessed locally as well as externally.
Local miRC Settings: Go to the server options menu.Add the .resnet server with following settings:

If you already have mIRC 6.02 or above, click here to connect to the GIKI IRC Server automatically from within GIKI.
