- Billing
A monthly mess bill is handed out to the occupants of hostels that includes the bill of consumed food, electricity bill, breakage charges, and miscellaneous charges. An average monthly bill is around Rs. 2500 - 3000. An advance of Rs. 3000 per month is to be deposited by each student as mess charges. Actual charges will be deducted from advance amount every month.
- Cafe
An alternative to the hostel mess is the cafe. The cafe is located beneath the AHA Auditorium. Apart from regular three meals in a day, snacks and fast food are also available at the cafe on payment. Measures are taken to ensure that the standards of quality of food and cleanliness are maintained.
- Dhaaba Tuck Shop
The restaurant (fondly known as Bismillah Hotel) located at the shopping block is also an alternative to the hostel mess. The restaurant provides regular meals and snacks as per order. It also provides Barbecue food. Measures are taken to ensure that the standards of quality of food and cleanliness are maintained.
- Mess
A mess is provided in each hostel and caters to the needs of hostel occupants. Its menu is decided by a panel of students known as the Mess Committee. Food is available at fixed timings in the mess. The billing of food is done monthly on no-profit no-loss basis. A student can 'check out' from the mess if he doesn't wish to use this service. Apart from regular meals, cold drinks and yogurt can be obtained from the mess by signing a chit. Measures are taken to maintain standards of food quality and cleanliness by the resident warden of the hostels.
