Many electronic resources of GIKI Library, course materials, and fully licensed versions of software are available to the students and faculty via the Local Area Network (LAN). GIKI Digital Library can be accessed only at the institute through \\192.168.100.4 .The resources included in GIKI Digital Library are:

E-Journals |
GIKI Digital Library can be accessed only at the institute through \\192.168.100.4. Here you can find thousands of journals in resource folder. Any resource material not available can be requested and will be subsequently purchased or obtained by the library.
In the institute one can also access Journals published by American Mathematical Society through the web site www.ams.org/journals. This archive includes hundreds of journals from American Mathematical Society USA, Blackwell Publisher, Springer, Oxford University and Ebsco.

E-Books |
All the books in e-books database can be accessed online through \\192.168.100.4 at the institute. The e-books archive consists of hundreds of books about metallurgy and material engineering, Thermodynamics, Ceramics, Manufacturing, and Computer Science etc. Thousand of e-books are also shared by the student community on their personal computers on the LAN.

The library has a good collection on CDs which includes Encyclopedia Britannica, Encarta, IELTS, and different type of books on CDs. We are working on this project and in the near future it will also be available online for GIKI staff and students.
