There is a good collection of more than 65 periodicals, newspapers and CD-ROM databases, giving most recent information.

These services include pro-active information, news flash e-mail messages from library, periodicals in English Language, technical, professional, management, computer and contents page service in a wide range of subjects.

audio and visual section in the library |
At the moment we are stocking Audio, Video cassettes, Computer Floppies and CD-ROMs on Scientific English Language Teaching, and Technical Informative Stories.
For future we have planned to purchase lots of audio visual material related to technical, Scientific English Language and audio/ video cassettes with books.

A quarterly News Clipping has been recently introduced under the heading "GIKI Press Clipping". This covers all the GIKI events and educational activities in Pakistan. This also includes a section of important articles published in daily news papers received in the library.
