ON CAMPUS JOBS FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

Applications are invited from the eligible and deserving students of the Institute for the following two posts as Incharge GIKafe for on-campus assignments, on part time basis:

 

I.    Incharge GIKafe

 

Skills Required

 

  • Group of two students. Those having some experience will be preferred.
  • Responsible for overall management of GIKafe.
  • Ability to supervise and evaluate work performance of staff.
  • To ensure daily sales proceeds and purchase record is properly maintained.
  • To ensure and supervise maintenance, and
  • To ensure that quality meals are served.
  • To maintain hygienic and sanitary conditions.

 

Terms of Reference:

 

a)   Sophomore or third year undergraduate students with CGPA of 2.7/4.00 and above;

b)   Recipients of any scholarship or financial assistance of any kind are not eligible to apply;

c)   The selected student(s) will be required to work for a maximum of 10 hours per week (or 20 hours during summer) as long as the following criteria are met;

 

i)          The student maintains good academics status;

ii)         Student should remain available during the summer if required;

iii)        Satisfactory performance report submitted by the Dean/Head of Department concerned;

iv)        The remuneration amount (about Rs. 200/- per hour) will be paid to students in cash/adjustment in Mess bills on monthly basis.

 

2.         All interested students are advised to submit their applications through their Deans/HoDs concerned to HR Department (Room No. G-15), latest by 20th December, 2018.
